Bonaventure Cemetery is one of the most visited locations in and around historic Savannah. The grounds are widely considered to be one of the most beautiful cemeteries in all of our country. The old growth oaks covered in Spanish Moss and the Victorian grave markers contribute to Bonaventure’s beauty. The Bonaventure Cemetery was featured in the book and movie “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil” by John Berendt.
